Kristin

Late in January 2000, the NH Dream Factory received a request from a terminally ill child. This brave little 13-year old wanted to travel to Florida to visit Disney World, and be reunited with her cousins and best friend. 

Through the efforts of the NH Dream Factory, Kristin fulfilled her dream early in February. American Airlines provided personalized travel arrangements, Elegante Limousine in Haverhill donated transportation to and from Logan Airport, and Give Kids The World in Kissimmee, FL accommodated the family, which included Kristin's 9-year old sister, Amanda, her mother, and her grandmother.  

Kristin spent a week enjoying fun and laughter, and during the not so good days, was able to watch videos with her best friend, and spend her near final days away from hospitals, pain, and the ever-present knowledge that soon her life would end. 

On March 6^th Kristin made her final journey. She had planned everything she wanted to do before leaving us, and the NH Dream Factory was able to assist in the fulfillment of her very important dream.
